Art City Days
7:28 PM
This is our second year attending the festivities of Art City Days in Springville, UT. Part of the reason why I love Springville so much is because of this event. Last year we had so much fun that we wanted to make it a tradition. On Thursday my mom and I took Chloe and Bradley to Fun-O-Rama where they had rides and activities geared toward kids. Their first stop was the train and they loved it!
Next on the list were the swings. I was nervous that Chloe would be scared of this ride and be screaming the entire time but she absolutely loved it. She didn't want to get off.
Grandma spoiled the kids with toys, pizza, and snow cones!
On Saturday, our family went to the big carnival and faced the 90 degree heat! Chloe loves horses so of course we couldn't leave without riding the carousel.
She even drove her own car and waved at people when the ride started... like she was royalty or something.
Mom took a turn riding the carousel with Chloe.
When it was time to get off, guess who didn't want to get off....
She tried to open the metal fence to get back on...
Then she has a melt down when she realizes that she can't ride the horses anymore.
Chloe finally calmed down and looked hot and worn out from the outing. We probably won't be going to Disneyland for a while with her...
We had four tickets left to use so I decided to sacrifice and use them on this sickening ride.
yeah... not so fun. I definitely felt sick afterwards.
I can't wait until Chloe is a little older and can enjoy some of the other events that Art City Days puts on like the children's parade, children's art festival, hot air balloon fest etc. Our family always looks forward to this time of year!
