I don't know what it is but I love reality TV. I become so connected to the contestants and I believe in them. I love the idea of someone achieving their dreams even if it may be fake (I still believe that producers have nothing to do with these shows). I look forward to coming home from a long hard day at work and sitting in front of the tube to watch these shows. I really should spend my time better like reading a book, exercising, or cleaning the apartment but no.... it is spent watching these shows. Guilty? yes but I still love them.
My brother Paul had discount tickets to the Canyons so Tanner and I took him up on the opportunity to snowboard (also because we finally got insurance). We went on a Friday and it was FREEZING, WINDY, AND SNOWING. We still had tons of fun though. This was Tanner's second time going and he is already boarding like a pro. We stayed on the bunny hill for a few runs until he was comfortable to move up to the bigger slopes. On one steep part he decided to be really brave and ended up biffing it, busting his knee. We stayed in the lodge for a bit before hitting the slopes again because 1. I was freezing and 2. Tanner was hurt. It only got colder and windier so we ended the day a little early and waited for my brother to finish. We both can't wait to go again... probably not till next year :(
My parents were in New York this week so my brother was babysitting Tara so we got to spend the weekend with her. She loves Tanner so much that she always will go to him and sleep with him. It is funny because Tanner is allergic to her yet he will take medicine so he can cuddle with her. Tara has definitely warmed Tanner up to the idea of having a puppy someday :)
Overall the weekend has been a nice break from our real life in Provo. My sister Jaclyn and brother Andrew joined us Saturday night and we played games and watched movies. Sunday morning we all slept in and ate french toast and have just been chillin'. What a perfect weekend.
We spent the weekend up at my parent's condo in Park City. This is the view out the back of the condo. Aren't we lucky? We had fun cuddling inside by the fire and watching movies. We went out to dinner at Squatters and it was delicious. They are famous for their burgers and sandwiches. I had a philly cheesesteak for the first time and loved it. Tanner had a spicy chicken sandwich that I was not about to try. We then topped it off with a banana cheesecake to see how it compared with Cheesecake Factory's banana cream cheesecake... it does not even compare.

I love how clean and serene this bedroom looks. I am so in to the beachy/romantic/vintage style of a bedroom. I am in the process of giving my own bedroom a makeover and here are some of my inspirations. I would love to own a chaise lounge chair where I could sit and melt into a book all day long. I am in love with neutral colors especially gray and blue. I feel like those colors scream relaxation and sleep.
I am in love with the quarterfoil pattern on this wall. The chandelier adds a romantic touch that I believe should be in every bedroom. Wouldn't you love to spend the day in here?
The candles, vintage chest, and classic chair are my favs in this one. I thought it was interesting how asymmetrical this room is with the chair on one side and the nightstand on the other... yet so perfectly designed. I also love the gray and white neutral color palette in this bedroom. Which bedroom is your favorite?

Today has been a very eventful day. First I went to work for a couple hours before I had to race off for my friends wedding. The day went like this: Temple sealing, pictures, starvation, luncheon, back to work for another hour while my husband slept in the car, and then reception. At least I had slept the night before unlike my husband... poor thing.
Tanner met Ryan when he moved in as his roommate and I met his girlfriend (now wife) Melissa when they both decided to sell pest control last summer. Seeing that Melissa and I were the only girls out in Dallas with our sales team for most of the summer, we became close friends really fast. I am so happy that Ryan and Melissa are now sealed and get to be together forever. They looked so happy today and everything was beautiful from the ceremony to the roses. I took some fun pictures of the event.

I loved Ryan's groom cake. He proposed to Melissa while snowboarding so I thought it was very appropriate!
Melissa's favorite dessert is the red velvet cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. If you have never tried it you are missing out! Why have cake when you could have red velvet cheesecake?Tanner and I were trying to reenact our wedding day by taking some fun pictures. Doesn't everyone wish they could experience their wedding day again?

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY! Was anyone feeling lucky? Unfortunately my day was so UNLUCKY! I woke up at 6 AM naturally which made me really angry because I desperately needed my sleep. At work, we are super busy which just makes me stressed and anxious. I messed up twice today costing me precious time that I won't ever get back... ugh. I packed my lunch today for once and my boss decides to buy us all pizza. I could really vent forever but the luckiest part of my day was being able to come home to my sweet husband. I guess I am lucky everyday in the fact that I get to spend forever with my best friend. We had fun eating lasagna and watching the BYU game tonight. Wow... what an emotional roller coaster today has been. I guess I am a true woman ;)
