Chloe has started crawling! She sometimes even crawls on her hands and feet (like a bear).
Wearing 12-18 month clothing. Loves to look at herself in the mirror. Knows that seeing daddy means playtime and gets super excited. Sleeps 7pm-6am, 6am-7:30am. Some days she will take two long naps or 3 short naps. Sleeps on her tummy. Will sing when others are singing. One time I took her into primary with me and she was singing the WHOLE time... (it was a little distracting for the kids). She is freakin cute. She is starting to get picky with food. Still teething... chewing on everything. Her favorite book is "That's not my bunny" and "pat the bunny." She likes feeling the different textures on the pages. She loves my dog, Tara. She giggles every time Tara moves or when she gets a chance to pat her (without poking her eyes out! yikes.. luckily Tara is really good with babies. She is so smart and beautiful that I just feel so lucky to have her as my daughter. love you baby girl!
hope to get a new camera soon!! mine is not the best.
Sunday nights... oh how we all love them right?
Well for me, Sunday nights are quiet and peaceful. My little girl goes to bed at 7pm and my husband follows her and does the same. He has to wake up at 10pm and go to work all night so he has good reasons. Since I have had this "me time", I have been inspired to take on a new adventure in my life. Can anyone guess what it is? Those who see me on a day-to-day basis know what I am talking about but for those who don't... I am SEWING. I have turned into a crazy sewing person. I have found that THING to fill my empty moments and to satisfy my creativity. Since I am not dancing on a daily basis like I am so used to... I needed SOMETHING to get my creativity flowing. My mom gave me TONS of fabric and supplies to get me started. I plan to either give the things I make away as gifts or if I'm brave enough... sell items on etsy. We'll see. Wish me luck on my new... thing. :)
p.s. pictures to come of upcoming projects.
Sometimes nothing beats a good old Friday night in with your hubby. Friday night the trio went to In-N-Out to grab some dinner and then came home to put the babe to sleep. Once she was asleep the night was ours. We are addicted to a new series, "Friday Night Lights," and decided to watch a couple epsidoes (when I say a couple I mean like four). We snuggled up on the couch and soaked up the few hours of alone time we had together.... very precious now a days. Tanner even surprised me and bought stuff to make pazookies! This was a favorite dessert while we were dating and it totally brought back so many fun memories. A Pazookie is a huge cookie baked and topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel (atleast our version). We ate it right off the baking pan... delish! The date was perfect and cost around 20 dollars. Not bad at all.
My dreams came true!!!! ok, not really... but I got to meet Derek Hough! He is the best male dancer on "dancing with the stars" and I'm a little obsessed with that show. Michelle and I went up to the Park City outlets because they were doing a drawing for a $1,000 shopping spree and Derek Hough was gonna be there. Well we didn't win the $1,000 dollars but we did get to see Derek. He danced with 12 lucky winners (sadly we weren't one of them). Michelle and I acted like giddy little school girls when in reality the whole thing was a little ridiculous ;). It is just fun to be silly sometimes. He was as short as we expected (about 5'8"). We were able to take a picture with him but the man who took the picture obviously does not know how to focus a picture... it's Derek Hough I promise! ;) After some shopping, we headed home... starstruck and all!
